She is a clinical rheumatologist with a strong interest in the identification of homogeneous subsets of patients with synovitis by analyzing big-data such as electronic medical records and genetics. The aim of one of her latest studies was to develop an easily implementable workflow that builds a machine learning algorithm capable of accurately identifying patients with rheumatoid arthritis from format-free text fields in electronic health records.
