Digital Rheumatology Research Award

Are you conducting innovative research at the intersection of rheumatology and digitalization? The Digital Rheumatology Research Award is your chance to showcase your work to leading experts and contribute to the future of patient care.

What We’re Looking For
The Scientific Advisory Board invites submissions of abstracts for posters or oral presentations focusing on digital solutions in rheumatology. We’re particularly interested in patient-oriented research that enhances diagnostics, monitoring, therapy, or overall patient care through digitalization.

The winner will be selected based on clinical relevance, originality, and scientific merit.

Submission Guidelines

• We welcome unpublished work but also accept peer-reviewed articles published in 2025 or 2026.
• Submission deadline:
• Oral Presentations: December 15th, 2026
• Poster Presentations: March 15th, 2027 

Required Documents (in English, as a single PDF):

• A short scientific abstract (max. 300 words)
• Curriculum vitae of the submitting author (max. 2 pages)
• Proof of publication or acceptance (if applicable)

Benefits for All Participants

• Oral presenters will deliver a 10-minute live presentation on stage.
• Poster authors will display their work in the exhibition area during the event, where attendees can engage with authors in designated discussion slots.
• The audience includes leading experts from various fields, including physicians, the pharmaceutical and MedTech industries, health IT companies, associations, consultants, academia, and research centers.

We encourage at least one poster author to register, attend in person, and exhibit their poster during the conference.

What Does the Winner Receive?

• €500 cash prize
• Recognition in an award ceremony at the Digital Rheumatology Days in Berlin.
• A feature article published on digitalrheumatology.org and shared on our social media channels.

Start-up Award

Calling All Innovators in Digital Rheumatology!
Do you provide or develop digital solutions that could enhance the quality of care in rheumatology? This is your chance to showcase your innovation and make an impact!

How It Works
Submit your application in the form of a 3-minute elevator pitch video. These pitches will be evaluated and ranked by the esteemed Advisory Board of the Digital Rheumatology Network.

Who Can Join?
We welcome applications from providers and developers of digital solutions that have the potential to improve rheumatology care.

Benefits for All Participants

• Upon approval by the Advisory Board, your video will be published on our website, www.digitalrheumatology.org, and promoted on our Social media channels.
• Your video will also be displayed on a monitor in the exhibition area during the meeting in Berlin.
• All participants receive free entrance to the 9th Digital Rheumatology Days!

What Does the Winner Receive?
The winner of the Start-up Award will enjoy:

• Presentation of their 3-minute winning video during the event.
• A 5–10 minute Q&A session with the audience to gain valuable feedback.
• An award ceremony recognizing their achievement.
• Announcement as the winner across our channels, including our Newsletter & LinkedIn platform.
